For successful growth
A raised garden bed with free-draining soil is ideal. Most varieties prefer full-sun or partial shade, with a bit of protection from strong winds.
The birds will certainly appreciate the beautiful nectar rich flowers .. these can be later pruned usually around late winter.
Then occasionally sprinkle a bit of native plant fertiliser for supporting growth.. just be sure though to avoid fertilisers with phosphorous. We have some Searles Native Fertiliser in 2.5kg bags available if needed.

Featured Plant – Sunflower Chocolate Gold
A fantastic performing pot line to add a bit of sunshine to the garden or patio. This compact dwarf variety produces a large dark centred face surrounded by bright yellow petals on a medium sized flower head. Flower under most conditions without assistance and can be a great addition around the home as a cut flower. Great for kids as it moves it head following the light of the sun during the day.
GROWING: Provide full sun for best results in an open media and water frequently as required.
