CHILDREN’S “Butterfly Print Workshop”
with Romaine Undery. A Primary School Teacher previous to being owner in family partnership of Ramesa Nursery with 25 years teaching experience.

All Materials are Supplied and LIMITED to 12 children – BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL
THE WORKSHOP WILL BE HELD IN THE 1913 COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN EDWARD ST, BEHIND THE KINGAROY REGIONAL ART GALLERY
A one-hour workshop for Children, where they will EXPLORE and mix COLOUR from the Primary Colours and use rollers to print from an Original Lino cut by Romaine.
This artform is made by carving into lino usually using Printmaking Ink (for this workshop we will be using fast drying acrylic paints)
The children will apply the paint onto the carved surface and transfer the design to paper through a printing process.
With step by step demonstration and hands-on practice, the children will create and take home a butterfly print with colours created and mixed by themselves.
